RAIA: Loyola HS of Margao, Bethany Convent HS of Sao Jose de Areal and Perpetual Convent HS of Navelim made it to the semi-finals of the U-15 inter-school Salcete taulka Subroto Mukherjee football tournament of DSYA.
At Dramapur football ground – Irwin Faleiro’s lone goal helped Loyola HS beat Manovikas EHS. Perpetual Succour Convent HS defeated Fr Agnel Multipurpose HS Verna by 4-0 margin. Royden Carvalho netted a hat-trick while Anosh Vaz was the other scorer. Bethany Convent also made it to the semis with 4-0 victory over St Jude HS of Betalbatim. Treston Fernandes scored a brace while Swelden Viegas and Jerico Pereira netted a goal each for Bethany Convent.

Fatima Convent HS of Margao defeated Bloomz International School, Nuvem, 6-0, to enter into the semi-finals of the Salcete Taluka Subroto Mukherjee U-17 girls football tournament of DSYA and played at Dramapur football ground on Friday. Leanna Pereira scored a brace while Ebbnie Rodrigues, Lynn Fernandes, Quinnell Lourenco and Carrisa Rodrigues netted a goal each for Fatima School.
