MAPUSA: Verna Veterans registered a hard-fought 1-0 win over Fatorda Veterans to enter the semi-finals of 2nd All Goa Siolim Veterans Football tournament organised by Siolim Veterans at St Anthony’s Church ground, Siolim, on Thursday.
The all-important goal for Verna Veterans came in the 22nd minute of play through a clinical finish from Ricardo Carvalho off Alex Ambrose cross, 1-0.
