Need to save democracy and freedoms given by the Constitution, under BJP: Congress

Congress made these remarks on the occasion of Constitution Day, on the 75th Anniversary of the drafting of the Indian Constituton.

PANJIM: Following the Constitution Day, The Goa Congress will launch a two month awareness programme in villages from Mandrem to Canacona to create awareness about how the BJP is undermining the Constitution of India under five points

–1. The need to save democracy and freedom given by the constitution since BJP is breaking parties

2. Fight for Equality since gap between poor and rich is increasing

3. Protection of reservations, since BJP is not ready for caste census

4 Abolition of discrimination and BJPs policy of divide and rule and

5. How capitalists and cronies are being helped by the BJP.
