In a historic order, the High Court on Wednesday mandated that there should be no outdoor music in Goa played after 10 pm. A 15 day relaxation window has been provided where if the establishments concerned take permission they can play music on designated days till 12 midnight. This includes festival days such as Diwali, Christmas, New year etc. However at no cost can music be played till 6aam as is presently happening in the coastal belt, destroying the peace of the villages.
