The 11th edition of Goa Short Film Festival, which is organized annually to give a platform to budding artists, film directors and producers, will be held on October 26 and 27. Organized by Film Parivar Sanstha at Sanskriti Bhawan, Patto, Panjim, short films will be screened from 9 am to 6 pm on both days. Short films from India and abroad will be screened in this short film festival.
Over 100 short films will be screened in the festival for two days. The festival also includes short films by producers, directors and actors from Goa especially in Konkani language. There is no entry fee for this short film festival. The best short films in the festival will be awarded prizes in various categories such as best short film director, writer and actor. Festival Director Yogesh Barskar informed that the prize of the festival will be distributed by senior poet, writer John Aguiar, filmmaker Producer Gopinath Chandelkar and senior writer Narayan Kurjekar on October 27 at 5 pm.
