Wayne (Willy) and Senica (Scully) are in love with each other and when they meet, they share sweet notings with one another. But unfortunately, circumstances do not permit them to unite in marriage.

After the death of her parents, Senica finds shelter at her uncle Roldao’s (Peter) residence. But being an alcoholic, instead of taking care of his niece, he takes maximum advantage of Senica for his benefit.

Senica finally ties the knot with Rahul (Vishal Gawas), a businessman, who runs Rose Textiles Industries. But instead of a dignified life, Senica finds herself as a maid at Rahul’s residence. Her mother-in-law (Roshan) too treats her same, along with another maid Magdalene (Juvency).

After inflicting physical and mental torture, Rahul decides to divorce Senica and unite with his business partner, Ursula (Joynixa). Being unable to stand the agony at the hands of Rahul and mother-in-law, Senica returns to her uncle. What follows next is worth the watch in the second half of the drama.

Will Senica be able to trace her old boyfriend? Where do they meet and how? What is their decision in life?  Do they unite at the end?

Tiatr ‘Taj Mahal Kosolltolem Kai?’ speaks about the creation of ‘Taj Mahal’ in the hearts of true lovers, despite all doubts, hurdles that pop up in life. Penned by Willy Silveira and directed by Scully D’Souza, it has a love story to relate, with tragedy in the first half and a happy ending in the second half. True colours of a betrayer have also been beautifully depicted in the drama.

All the artistes on stage have given a fine performance. Willy and Scully acted well as lovebirds in the beginning and then the separation and re-union at the end. Vishal stands out as a villain, while Alijoy comes along as a Good Samaritan. The guardians are projected in negative roles. Joynixa, the new entrant on the commercial stage, makes a cameo and is quite confident in her body language and dialogues. Child prodigy Jenoy makes a debut and deserves applause for his confident acts and dialogue delivery.

In the comic acts, there’s John D’Silva, Brian, Rizton and comedienne Juvency to entertain and they carry a good dose of laughter pills with them, minus the overacting in some scenes.

In the section of songs, Alijoy, Juvency and Joynixa come together for the opening song, followed by solos from Jenoy, Alijoy and Tony de Ribandar. Three songs, namely solos by Francis de Tuem and Olga and another by Alijoy, Tony and Francis de Tuem receive encores. Other songs by Peter/Roshan, Willy/Scully, Juvency/Joynixa and a song by Roshan, Juvency, Scully and Olga are entertaining. Norman Cardozo as the band leader with his musical team has provided good live music offstage, besides the background musical score.

The entire presentation on stage though entertaining, stretches beyond three hours, which could be curtailed by deleting the unwanted comedy sequences. The stage sets are by Pedro Santan and the lights have been handled by Tremson.
