The Second All Goa Inter School Tiatr Competition 2024-25 was organized by Tiatr Academy of Goa in collaboration with Ravindra Bhavan, Baina, Vasco at Ravindra Bhavan, Baina, Vasco. The inaugural function of the competition was held in the presence of Sagun Velip, director of Art & Culture/ president of TAG and Jayant Jadhav, chairman of Ravindra Bhavan, Baina, Vasco, Dharmendra Prabhudessai, vice chairman of Ravindra Bhavan, Baina, Vasco, and Alice Joan Goes, headmistress of The Rosary High School, Cujira, Bambolim.
Sagun welcomed the gathering while Jayant also spoke on the occasion. Six High Schools participated in the competition. The Rosary High School, Cujira, Bambolim Goa performed the first tiatr of the competition ‘Kallokhi Vatt’. Fatima Convent High School, Margao staged tiatr ‘Tikam’, Our Lady of the Rosary High School, Dona Paula staged tiatr ‘Tuka Zai Zalear’ and tiatr ‘Bim Toxem Bhat’ was staged by Our Lady of Carmel High School, Curtorim. Tiatr ‘Distinction’ was staged by St Xavier High School, Velim, Fr Agnel High School, Pilar staged the last tiatr of the competition ‘Sopon Purem’. Eknath Mahale and Maxcy Pereira judged the competition. Vote of thanks was proposed by Suresh Divkar, member secretary of Tiatr Academy of Goa. The programme was co-ordinated and compered by Vijaya Tari, cultural organiser of TAG.
