After a morcha, praying to village deity, Mayem MLA assures to scrap Kudchirem waste project

Locals are firmly opposing the construction debris processing plant proposed in the village

KUDCHIREM: Kudchirem locals had on Sunday taken out a morcha and then prayed to the main god and Jagekar Barajan dev of the village, to save their village from the government construction debris Processing Plant proposed in the village. The project will destroy the identity and ecology of the village they argued. On Wednesday, Mayem BJP MLA assured the villagers that he has spoken to the Chief Minister and the project will be scrapped.

The people of Kudchirem are firmly opposing  the construction debris project proposed at Kudchirem. They have firmly told the MLA Premendra Shet that if the project is not scrapped they will not be with him or the BJP. This is not political but a question of identity and survival of the village.
