In celebration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 74th birthday, the state branch of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is hosting a two-week program called "Sewa Pakhwada" until October 2. During this time, Swachhata Abhiyan will take place in each of the 40 assembly constituencies from September 18 to October 2.
Sadanand Shet Tanavade, the Rajya Sabha MP and state president of the BJP, stated on Wednesday that as part of Sewa Pakhwada, Goa BJP workers have begun planning a number of events starting on September 17.

According to him, the party hosted blood donation drives at the district level on September 17. September 18–October 1 is when the party will address the Swachhata Abhiyan concerns. The party workers will clean schools, hospitals, and Ganapati Visarjan places in all assembly constituencies.
To oversee the program, the BJP has formed a six-member committee, with former MLA Dayanand Sopte serving as convener. Additionally, district-level committees led by Suvarna Tendulkar for South Goa and Premanand Mhambre for North Goa have been established.

Along with these programs, the party has also held medical camps for women, picture exhibitions of the Prime Minister's accomplishments, seminars on R Balasubramaniam's book 'Power Within: The Leadership Legacy of Narendra Modi' in different cities, and essay competitions with themes such as Atmanirbhar Bharat, Viksit Bharat 2047, and Vocal for Local.
