Body recovered at Malim jetty confirmed to be that of Karwar murder suspect

PANJIM: An unidentified body of a male was found at Malim Jetty, on Wednesday afternoon. Goa Police came and took the body.

However, later Wednesday evening, when the Kadra Police Karnataka identified the body as that of Guruprasad Rane.

They have confirmed that the body is of the prime suspect in the brutal murder of Pune-based businessman Vinayak Naik, a resident of Hankon-Karwar.

The accused Rane, was also a businessman owning distilleries and hailed from the same village but used to reside in Ponda.
