One can see buffaloes meant for dhirio are taken out mostly in the evening on village roads and beaches in Goa. These buffaloes are a threat to children, people on beaches, elderly citizens and to almost everyone in general.

Sometimes they are taken out by young boys. They can turn out wild any time as there have been instances where buffaloes have even killed the owners. The authorities and government should direct the owners not parade these dangerous animals in public places.
