CM trying to deflect attention from job scam; targeting opposition: Goa Forward
MARGAO: The Economic Offences Cell (EOC) of Goa Police has booked a couple, Myron Rodrigues and his wife Deepali Parab, along with five others, for allegedly duping around 50 investors of approximately Rs 100 crore under the pretext of share market investments. Myron Rodrigues is currently absconding.
The Chief Minister stated on Sunday that a larger money scam of Rs 130 crore, allegedly linked from Fatorda to London, is being uncovered. Meanwhile, Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai accused the government of using police to intimidate opposition leaders, citing a recent visit by police officers to his private farmhouse.
