PANJIM: The State government on Saturday ordered the transfer of eight police inspectors with immediate effect.
According to an order issued by Nelson B R Albuquerque, Superintendent of Police (HQ), Panjim, Police Inspector IPI) Yogesh S Sawant, who was attached to the Security Unit Panjim (CM Security), has been transferred and posted as PI of Old Goa Police Station while, PI Raghoba H Kamat, who was with Security Unit, Panjim (CM Security), has been now posted as PI of Mardol police station.
PI (Crime Branch) Narayan A Chimulkar has been transferred and posted as PI of Mopa Airport police Station, while, Valpoi PI Dinesh D Gadekar has been transferred and posted as PI of Bicholim police station in place of PI Rahul Naik, who has been posted as PI of Valpoi police station.
Mardol PI PI Satish Gawade has now been posted as PI (ACB/Vigilance) and Old Goa PI has been posted as PI of Cyber Crime.
