Even if God asks me to withdraw the fast I will not: Premanand Naik, on Day 6 of hunger strike
SANCOALE: Expressing very high level of commitment to his cause, former Sancoale Sarpanch Premanand Naik has pledged to die for the cause of revoking the licences given to Bhutani Infra by the Sancoale Panchayat. They have done fottingpon. The Sancoale Panchayat too has not moved an inch even serious concerns have been expressed over Naik’s health.
Even as former Sarpanch Premanand Naik’s hunger strike entered the 6th day the Ruling Panchayat members have not moved an inch or even visited him. Instead, Naik said Deputy Sarpanch Derick Vales instructed that the lights where he is sitting be put off at night, leaving him in darkness. He demanded that the project should be scrapped since people do not want it. The Rashtriya OBC Mahasangh has extended support to Premanand Naik.
