Five SEZs Proposed all over Goa; People will boot them out of their houses: Claude Alvares
The SEZ proposal was exposed when an RTI put by Goa Foundation disclosed that the Electricity Dept is preparing for additional 220 KV on top of 400 KV line already proposed under Tamnar, for Five SEZs coming up all over Goa.

If people know the plans, they would go to their houses with rage and boot them out of office. Vishwajit Rane says 6 crore square metres of land is to be converted, because there are 6 crore errors. They have already reached half a crore - 49 lakhs sqm have already been converted."

The Chief Town Planner is paid to protect Goa not to sign the death warrant of the Regional Plan he said.
