PANJIM: Bihar Governor Rajendra Arlekar has cautioned people not to fall prey to unidentified persons/fraudsters creating his fake ID on Facebook, and calling on WhatsApp and demanding money.
The Cyber fraudsters have now targeted the executive head of the State after last week; they had made three Cabinet Ministers and three MLAs from Goa as their target. Later the ministers and legislators concerned had issued public notices through social media warning their acquaintances and workers about fraudsters seeking money through their fake WhatsApp profiles.
Ministers Ravi Naik, Mauvin Godinho and Rohan Khaunte and MLAs Nilesh Cabral, Premendra Shet and Jit Arolkar were targeted by the fraudsters, who were requesting money through various modes.
Complaints have already been filed by all against unidentified persons.
