PANJIM: Gangu Temi Gauns, 49 of Palem-Siridao, who sustained head injuries in a road accident died while undergoing treatment at the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), Bambolim.
Gauns, who was trying to cross the road on his two-wheeler from Siridao junction to Palem, collided with another two-wheeler proceeding from Agasaim to Panjim. The accident occurred on October 12.
Agasaim PSI Rushikesh Raikar is conducting further investigation.
In another incident, 41-year-old John Cecil D’Souza of Merces, who was injured in a self-accident, succumbed to his injuries at the GMC, Bambolim.
D’Souza had met with self-motor vehicular accident at Boat Pool INS Mandovi Road Verem on October 14.
The Porvorim Police registered a case under Section 194 of BNSS. PSI Sachin Shirodkar is investigating the case.
