Two Russian nationals found dead in 2 separate incidents

PANJIM: Two Russian nationals were found dead in separate incidents in Goa on Monday.

In the first incident, information was received that Teymur Tserbaev (44), a Russian national, was found dead at his rented residence at Siolim, Bardez.

According to Anjuna Police, his wife stated that Tserbaev was a chronic alcoholic and was on medication. After panchanama, the body was shifted to Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), Bambolim. A case under section 194 of BNSS has been registered and the same is being investigated by PSI Navneet V Goltekar of Anjuna Police Station.

In a separate incident, Denis Detkov (47) was found dead in a guest house room at Galgibag, Canacona. Detkov had checked in on November 1, 2024, and was staying alone. Police with the help of fire brigade staff broke open the door of his room, which was locked from the inside.

After Panachanama, the body was shifted to South Goa District Hospital, Margao, for medico legal formalities. The Russian Consulate was informed to convey the report of the incident to his family to conduct medico legal formalities.

A case under section 194 of BNSS has been registered and the same is being investigated by PSI Ajit Velip of Canacona Police Station.
