Good Roads for PM but not for Lord Ganesha: Xencor Polgi
Devotees that if the Ganesh idol breaks while transporting it either to their homes or for immersion, it is a bad omen
PANJIM: In a world of stark contrasts, activists Xencor Polgi pointed out that when the prime minister visits Goa, the roads are done up on a war footing but when our Ganpati Bappa comes no one is bothered to do up the roads so that the devotees can take the idols home safely without breaking. This is a shame on governance, he opined.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has stated that the substandard road will be repaired by the concerned contractor free of cost otherwise the contractor will be blacklisted.
