Is Subhash Velingkar getting official protection, unofficially?

PANJIM: It is incomprehensible that the Goa Police are not able to trace former RSS Goa Chief Subhash Velingkar. Even though his anticipatory bail application has been rejected by Sessions Court, he has not been arrested. In this edition of Street Voices, we asked people, ‘Is Subhash Velingkar getting official protection, unofficially?’

These type of elements, to create communal discord, are a creation of the BJP from day one. BJP is in power for almost a decade and now these communal elements have grown beyond their capacity. Naturally one will protect one’s own creation. So surely this is the handmade of the BJP government. He is surely getting protection, otherwise Goa police is very efficient and can find criminals very quickly.

Even drug dealers they can find very quickly, but politicians in high ranking places right from the Home Minister's Department are interfering in everything, and everywhere they are allowing these elements to grow into monsters and create unrest and Velingkar is their own creation who has got all the support and he been protected by them.

Before the bail was rejected, where was Subhash Velingkar running? You are running for your life. But you show the press that you are a Desh Bhakt. Are you a krantikari. Shame on this word krantikari. You are getting scared to get arrested of your life and you are running away? Police say that you cannot be found.

Official protection you are getting unofficially. You needed state machinery to protect you. And you call your self krantikari, hindutva. You get scared even to be arrested. We are happy to go to jail for Goa. And you are running away. By putting out your 56 inch chest, you threaten the press. What type of historian are you who gets scared?

This government is on the back foot. To cover up the destruction of Goa, they have awakened this snake. Because of this all the people of Goa rose to their feet, because they tried to divide us. Whose work is this? He wouldn’t have had the courage if he did not have support of the government.

This is happened because he had the support of the government. But are judiciary is proper and upright. Hence they have rejected the bail. People are demanding that he should be arrested. But if he has the support of the government, he will not be arrested. He will be in hiding and he will apply for bail in the High Court.
