'Kodel zai vo Romi Zai’ programme from September 23
Global Konknni Forum to get voters from constituencies to meet the MLAs and give the above ultimatum
LEAD/ANCHOR: The Global konknni Forum will start its 'Kodel zai vo Romi Zai’ programme from 23rd September. They will ask voters to meet their MLA, as the part of the ongoing movement to demand equal status for Roman script in the Official Language Act.
They also said that then CM Manohar Parrikar had passed an ordinance for teaching of Romi Konknni in schools, which CM Pramod Sawant should implement.
We have already got an appointment to meet Curtorim MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco. We are in talks with Environment Minister and Nuvem MLA Aleixo Sequeira. We will also get other voters to meet their MLAs towards this demand
