Language issue was settled in 1987, but will speak to CM: Law Minister Aleixo Sequeira on Romi Lipi
The Global Konknni Forum is approaching each MLA to press for giving official script status to Romi Lipi besides Devanagari
MARGAO: As part of the ‘Kodel Zai vo Romi Zai’ campaign, Global Konknni Forum delegation met Law and Judiciary Minister, Aleixo Sequeira demanding equal status for the Roman script in the Official Language Act (OLA). Minister stated that he will speak to the Chief Minister on this issue. He further stated that this issue was settled in the year 1987.
Meanwhile, most of the issues have been resolved regards to the Cutbona jetty, said Minister Sequeira who was listening to public greivances at the South Goa Collecorate told media.
