Panjim Meat vendors without livelihood
High Court has directed that Panjim Meat vendor be rehabilitated within 6 weeks
PANJIM: After the Corporation of the City of Panjim began demolishing the old fish market multi storeyed building, the meat vendors from those premises are without any source of income. They were not even supposed to be rehabilitated by the CCP.
On approaching the High Court, they won the case and the court directed that they be rehabilitated within 6 weeks and also directed that the Fish Market building plan be shown to the court by 30 November. Presently they have no place to do business.
