Pele threatens to change his name to Lamani over Malpe boats plundering fish
More Malpe boats intrude into Calangute water and plunder fish
PANJIM: Francisco Fernandes alias Pele has threatened to change his name to Lamani since Goans cannot survive in Goa. After Tuesday’s chase of a Malpe trawler by Nerul fishermen, on Wednesday big fleet of trawlers landed in Calangute water to plunder fish.
He told the government to give his two policemen with guns and that he would donate his speed boat with fuel to catch these marauding Malpe trawlers.
Pele also appealed to the government to buy two speed boats to catch the intruding trawlers.
