PONDA: The road at the Devazaad-Bethora junction has eroded for some time, posing a significant risk to vehicles using this route. Locals have called for the immediate attention of the Public works Department (PWD) to address their concerns.

This main junction serves as a vital link to internal wards in Talewada, Aade, Deulwada and Mestawada, and is consistently busy with traffic. Locals warn that the situation could become particularly hazardous during power outages, as visibility diminishes at night without streetlights, making it difficult to navigate the eroded road.

During the monsoon season, water from the surrounding area accumulates at the site, leaving the road submerged and damp, which has led to further erosion and the formation of a widening crater. Residents are urging the PWD authorities to take immediate action to restore the road and provide much needed relief. The junction is located a short distance from the Bethora Industrial Estate.
