PANJIM: Revenue Minister and Panjim MLA Atanasio Monserrate who visited Sao Tome area after the constant face-off between tourists and locals, said that he would take all the suggestion of the residents and ensure that the tourists behave.

The suggestions will be given to officers and another meeting will be held with the residents. He pointed out that the problem was not of tourists coming to the area but the type of tourists, He also came down heavily on the police for their absence on the ground though recently 900 recruitments were made to the police force.
