Two properties encroached by Bhutani Group; permissions granted within hours by Village Panchayat: Alina Saldanha   

PANJIM: In the controversy of the hill conversion by the Bhutani Group at Sancoale, two families have been severely affected. Former environment minister, Alina Saldanha stated that the land belonging to the two families encroached upon by the company. Despite owning the property, the families claim that the Bhutani Group built a compound wall around their homes without permission.

Shockingly, the Panchayat granted the license to the company within just a few hours, further intensifying the dispute.
