Withdraw FIR against us, Margao protestors appeal to CM

MARGAO: The protestors who participated in the major agitation at Margao, to demand the arrest of Subhash Velingkar for his unwarranted remarks against Saint Francis Xavier, have appealed to the CM to withdraw the FIRs lodged against them. They called for a stop to double standards, where accused Subhash Velingkar was treated royally and questioned only for 20 minutes after absconding for 7 days, while they are being harassed. They were only demanding justice, they said.
