Goa Diocesan Priests retain Vocation Cup

NERUL: The Goa Diocesan Priests retained their title as Vocation Cup champions organised by the Remedios Parish Youth in collaboration with United Club of Nerul and Nerul Sports club and powered by FC Goa.
In a uniquely conceptualised football match, the Goa Diocesan Priests football team played against four teams representing the four wards of Nerul village for a duration of 60 minutes of exciting football. After the glittering opening ceremony introducing the five participating teams which consisted of Bhattier, Fortawaddo, Danarim, FRTDM and the Goa Diocesan Priests.
In the first quarter, Diocesan Priests scored three goals against the Bhattier team as Valentine, Mario and Dylon found the back of the nets. In the second quarter, the Fortawado team pulled a goal back through Aniket via penalty for the Nerulkars and the Priests pumped in four more as Valentine netted twice, while Mario and Americo netted a goal each taking the aggregate to 7-1. 
After the change of ends, Danarim team scored through Lawrence to make it 7-2. In the last quarter, the FRTDM team scored two quick goals against the priests through Deu and Hudson taking the final tally of the Vocation Cup match to 7-4.
