In a recent incident near Hotel Majestic Porvorim, a high-speed rental car collided with a parked four-wheeler in the early hours of Sunday, resulting in substantial damage to both vehicles. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported, but the driver of the rental car sustained minor injuries to his face.

The collision, which occurred around 4 am on Sunday morning, involved a Baleno car rented by the driver. Sources suggest that the driver was under the influence of alcohol, exceeding the speed limit. The impaired driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to the accident.

The owner of the parked four-wheeler shared their account, stating, "We had parked our car in the lot and went inside the casino to play. At around 4 am, we learned that an accident had taken place with our car. The driver was drunk and fractured his nose due to the collision."

This incident underscores the risks associated with driving under the influence and emphasizes the importance of adhering to speed limits for the safety of the public. With a rising number of accidents involving rental cars, there is a growing need to address and raise awareness about responsible driving practices.
