Chess: FM Ritviz leads

PANJIM: FM Ritviz Parab is leading with 7 points at the end of seventh round in the late Smt Sunandabai Dayanand Bandodkar Blitz Rated Chess Tournament 2023, which began at Rajaram Smruti Sabhagruha, Gomantak Maratha Samaj Hall, Panjim, on Monday.

Devesh Naik is in second position with the score of 6.5 points. IM Nitish Belurkar, Niraj Saripalli, Anilkumar O T, Aayush Shirodkar, Aryan Raikar and Kirpesh are in the third position with 6 points.

The tournament was inaugurated by Mahesh Candolkar, president of Goa Chess Association in the presence of IM Nitish Belurkar, Ashesh Keni (Secretary GCA), Arvind Mhamal, Dattaram Pinge, Atish Angle, Naresh Pednekar and Pallavi Kakodkar and others.
