RAIA: Curtorim Gymkhana secured a spot in the semi-finals of the 49th Chandor Seamen Football Tournament, by edging out Don Bosco Oratory, 5-4, in a tense tie-breaker at Chandor. The match ended 1-1 in regulation time.

The first half was a slow affair, with Don Bosco breaking the deadlock in the 17th minute when Elroy Barreto chipped the ball into the Curtorim net from a long midfield shot. Curtorim responded aggressively, but their two attempts were easily saved by Don Bosco's young goalkeeper, Acton Barbosa. Don Bosco led 1-0 at halftime.

The second half saw both teams playing with urgency. Curtorim's persistence paid off in the 54th minute when Milagres Fernandes connected with a long cross to level the score. Despite their best efforts, neither team could break the deadlock, leading to a tie-breaker.

In the resultant tie-breaker, Curtorim's Rhay Dias, Maldino Rodrigues, Ryan Fernandes, and Anselm Fernandes all found the net. Don Bosco's Alfred Noronha, Hanslum Furtado, and Edgar Noronha also scored, but it wasn't enough.

Curtorim's goalkeeper, Johnson Bhagat, was named man-of-the-match presented by Chandor Club President, Basil Fernandes.
