RAIA: YSC Colvale defeated hosts Nerul Sports Club 2-0 to move into the quarter-finals of Nerul Panchayat Cup inter-village football tournament 2024 organised by Nerul Sports Club, at Nerul Sports Club ground, on Friday.
YSC Colvale opened the account in the 46 minute through the efforts of Cyrus D’Souza. Later, Rohit Parsekar’s powerful shot passed the goalkeeper of Nerul SC to make it 2-0.
Nerul SC tried their best to come on equal terms but failed to penetrate the YSC Colvale’s solid-rock defence.
