MAPUSA: FC Goa had an easy outing as they humbled Churchill Brothers SC 5-0 in the Reliance Foundation Development League match at Duler Stadium, here, on Monday.

Young Gaurs went into the breather with two goals lead after Lalthangliana, and Akash Oraow attempts were saved by Churchill Brothers SC Goalkeeper Mahanta Mandal.
After repeated raids on the rival citadel finally in the 27th minute Young Gaurs opened their account as Malsawmtluanga controlled Bryson Pereira cross and connected the ball to far corner of the goal, 1-0.
Five minutes before the breather, Jovial Dias scored from inside the penalty box 2-0. On resumption of play, Young Gaurs carried out their onslaught to see Lalthangliana combined with Jovial Dias and score after dribbling past the onrushing Churchill Brothers custodian, 3-0.
Lalthangliana almost doubled his lead but his strike came off the goal post. As the match progressed, substitute Shaikh Ismail and Likson Rebelo added their names to the scorer’s list.
In the morning match, Sporting Clube de Goa managed to hold Dempo SC in a 2-2 draw.
The teams went into the breather locked in a 1-1 draw. It was Sporting Clube’s striker Crespo D’Souza who opened his team’s account in the 18th minute with a neat placement only to find Dempo SC’s Mevan Dias score from inside the 18-yard box, 1-1.
On crossing ends, it was Dempo SC’s Sairon Albuquerque who put his team ahead in the 73rd minute but just five minutes later Sporting Clube’s Francisco Fernandes levelled terms for his team, 2-2.
