RAIA: Fr Agnelo YSC, Paroda, pipped Carmona Sports Club 1-0 in the quarter-final match to book a place in the semi-finals of All Goa Navelim Villagers Union Trophy organised by Navelim villagers Union at Rosary Church ground, Navelim, on Friday.

The all-important goal for Fr Agnelo YSC was scored by Regan Costa from the edge of the box with powerful shoot which beat the defence and goalkeeper of Carmona SC in the 19th minute.

Edwin (Cipru) Cardozo, Zilla Panchayat member of Navelim presented the man-of-the-match award to Regan Costa of Fr Agnelo YSC.
