RAIA: Guardian Angel SC downed Ambelim Sports Club 2-0 to enter the quarter-finals of Marcus Mascarenhas (Mark) memorial trophy football tournament organised by Sarzora Sports Club, at Chinchinim Church ground, on Friday.
Aliton Furtado scored the opening goal for Guardian Angel SC in the 6th minute. Further, Adrian Gomes inflated the lead for Guardian Angel SC in the 20th minute. The man-of-the-match award was bagged by Adriano Gomes of Guardian Angel SC by Newton Leitao (vice-president of CRC Club, Chinchinim).
