MAPUSA: Unbeaten Holiday Club Arpora carried on their winning run as they trounced UC Nerul by 5-0 margin in the GFA’s Division III League Bardez Zone match held at Siolim ground, on Thursday.
Though Holiday Club forged ahead in the 22nd minute through Mayopam Rumthao, who scored with a neat placement, UC Nerul colts levelled terms in the 36th minute from a low grounder by Ramsley Gonsalves 1-1.
On crossing over, both teams played almost on equal footing where Holiday Club once again took the lead through Sneiden Fernandes in the 87th minute.
In the added time, Chirag Mardolkar netted a brace, with Rohit Shirodkar adding his name for the fifth goal.
At Moira ground, El Shaddai S&C gained a walkover as Nerul SC failed to report for the match.
