RAIA: Navelim Sporting Club moved past Benfica Youth Club 2-1 to enter the semi-finals of Marcous Mascarenhas (Mark) memorial football tournament organised by Sarzora Sports Club at Chinchinim church ground, on Thursday.
Ronaldo Pereira scored the first goal in the 5th minute for Navelim Sporting Club. At half time, the score was 1-0 in favour of Navelim Sporting Club.
In the second half, Benfica Youth Club came back strong and equalised from Royan Gama in the 37th minute. The winning goal was scored by Vinito Costa for Navelim Sporting Club in the 49th minute.
The man-of-the-match award was presented to Vinito Costa of Navelim Sporting Club by Sarzora Deputy Sarpanch Rhea Oliveira.
