RAIA: Parish Youth Nuvem defeated Curtorim Gymkhana, 6-5, via the tie-breaker to enter into the quarterfinals of 23rd edition of Bro Eulalio Vas Memorial football tournament, organised by Don Bosco Bosco Oratory, at Fatorda ground, on Wednesday.
Parish Youth Nuvem scored the first goal through Max Colaco in the 15th minute of play but their joy shortlisted as Curtorim Gymkhana equalised in the very next minute through the boots of Aliston Fernandes with assist from Milagres Fernandes, 1-1.
In the second session both teams tried to take control of the game and slowed down the pace of the game and were trying to find the winning goal but couldn't break the deadlock until final whistle.
In the deceive penalty kick, Parish Youth Nuvem netted through Niclau Colaco, Godfrey Mascarenhas, Hudson Dias, Meisleio Barreto and Cedor Colaco while Gilbert Fernandes, Floyd Antao, Frazer Fernandes and Aliston Fernandes scored for Curtorim Gymkhana.
Aliston Fernandes of Curtorim Gymkhana was awarded man-of-the-match by Ravi Natekar.
