RAIA: Parish Youth Nuvem defeated hosts Guardian Angel SC 5-4 via tie-breaker to enter the semi-finals of Fr Gervasio Pinto inter-village football tournament played at Figueiredo ground, Pontemol-Curchorem,
on Thursday.
After a barren full session resulting in tie-breaker, Nicolau Colaco, Godfrey Mascarenhas, Hudson Dias, Frazer Miranda and Mackuino Colaco were on target for Parish Youth Nuvem, while Reagan Costa, Ivo Costa, Godwin Costa and Adrian Gomes scored for Guardian Angel SC.
Earlier, Dunes SC, Mandrem, defeated Our Lady of Gloria SC, Raia, 2-1, to enter the next round. Dunes SC netted a goal each through Raul and Albert Britto and for Our Lady of Gloria SC Learn Dias reduced the margin.
