PANJIM: Goa will face Tamil Nadu in their opening match of the Senior Women’s National Football Championship for Rajmata Jijabai Trophy 2024-25 in Group A comprising of Goa along with the host team Kerala, Himachal Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, scheduled from October 5 to 9, at Palakkad, Kerala.
The Goa Football Association have selected following players to represent Goa State team: Players: Shaundelle Gomes, Merecia Tavares, Aaroshi Govekar, Ashika Gadekar, Pearl Fernandes, Ms.Laura Estibeiro, Saniya Pednekar, Simran Narvekar, Pushpa Parab, Sushmita Jadhav, Alisha Tavares, Fatima Braganza, Vinoshka Fernandes, Swellen Fernandes, Ria Rajesh, Arpita Pednekar, Aniela Barretto, Flani Costa, Jossel Mascarenhas, Tanvi Parulekar, Riya Shailesh Patre, Alicia Suzy Fernandes. Officials: Remedios Colaco (head coach), Malvita Mascarenhas (asst coach), Reshma D’Souza (manager), Anisha Priolkar (physio). The team will leave for the championship on October 2.
