RAIA: Uguem Rising Club downed Betalbatim SC 3-1 to enter the semi-finals of Sao Jose de Areal Panchayat Cup football tournament organised by Sao Jose de Areal SC at Padribhat ground, Sao Jose de Areal, on Thursday.
Jester Carvalho opened the scoreline for Uguem Rising Club in the 7th minute. Rutik Bandekar netted a brace for Uguem Rising Club in the 16th and 28th minute, while Dickson Ragtao pulled a goal back for Betalbatim SC in the 48th minute.
The man-of-the-match award was presented to Jester Carvalho of Uguem Rising Club by Gabriel Oliveira, former sarpanch of Sao Jose de Areal.
