RAIA: Sirvodem Sports Club stormed to a dominant 9-0 victory over Sporting Club de Rumdamol in the GFA U-15 Khelo India Women’s League, at Sinquetim Sports Complex, on Thursday. Salonee Barretto led the charge with a remarkable four-goal haul, while Shalaika Rodrigues and Annalee Fernandes each netted twice. Liora Fernandes added her name to the scoresheet in a comprehensive win.
The first half belonged to Sirvodem, with Salonee Barretto opening the scoring in the 18th minute, doubling her tally just four minutes later, and completing her hat-trick by the 34th minute, giving her team a comfortable three-goal cushion at the break.
The second half was one-way traffic as Sirvodem turned up the heat. Shalaika Rodrigues added two more to the tally, with Annalee Fernandes scoring in the 65th minute to push the scoreline to 6-0. Salonee Barretto struck again shortly after and Liora Fernandes tapped in her goal in the 81st minute. Annalee Fernandes put the finishing touch on the rout in the 84th minute, securing her brace and sealing the 9-0 triumph.
In another match, Dunes SC cruised to a 6-0 win over Laxmi Prasad SC at Poriat ground, Calangute. Valanka Rodrigues scored twice, while Valanca Fernandes, Andrea Fernandes, Sansia Rodrigues, and Tannu Singh each netted once in the commanding performance.
