MAPUSA: St Savio Sports Club registered a comfortable 2-0 win over Nerul SC in the 480 Years St Michael’s Church Trophy organised by Clube Sao Minguel de Taleigao, at Taleigao ground, on Sunday.
In a barren first session, the match was fought almost on equal footing.
On crossing ends, for St Savio SC Alwyn Fernandes opened the account in the 45th minute, while Pedro Gonsalves made the issue safe by pumping in the second goal in the 57 minute of play.
